On today's date, 50 classmates and guests have paid to attend our 60th Reunion luncheon. This luncheon will be the one and only organized, sanctioned, and FINAL event sponsored by the the Sumner High School Class of 1966.
Those classmates who plan to attend the luncheon must conform and comply with the terms and conditions of the contract between the Class and the Hotel. Specifically, the Administrative Committee and where applicable, the Hotel have agreed that:
- The Hotel will provide a luncheon buffet from 12;30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. At 2:30 p.m., the Hotel will remove all food from the Reunion room. Payment of the assessment entitles each classmate and their guests to eat from the buffet between 12:30 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. until classmates and their guests have eaten all of the food. NO ONE WILL BE PERMITTED TO TAKE A "TO GO" BOX FROM THE BUFFET, which means ALL FOOD CONSUMED BY CLASSMATES AND THEIR GUESTS MUST BE CONSUMED ON THE PREMISES, and specifically, the Reunion area. Anyone who arrives at the luncheon at 2:30 or thereafter forfeits their right to eat from the buffet. NO REFUNDS FOR THOSE CLASSMATES OR GUESTS WHO ARRIVE AFTER 2:30 P.M.
- The contract specifically prohibits classmates and their guests from bringing any beverage of any kind onto the Hotel property. This means that ABSOLUTELY NO ALCOHOL, SOFT DRINKS, COFFEE, TEA, OR OTHER BEVERAGES OF ANY KIND may be brought into the Hotel or the Reunion from any outside source.
- The Hotel will provide water, tea, and coffee during the luncheon. Classmates and their guests who intend to consume any beverage other than the coffee, tea, and water provided by the Hotel must buy ALL of those beverages at the hotel bar or from other sources provided by the Hotel and then bring those beverages into the Reunion area.
- A segment of the program entitled, "Show and Tell," provides some classmates to display and present NO MORE THAN FIVE artifacts and memorabilia from kindergarten through graduation. Classmates who choose to participate in "Show and Tell" should affix some form of identification to each item to clearly identify the owner, eliminate any confusion about ownership of similar items, and ensure the return of each item to the rightful owner. Neither the HOTEL NOR THE CLASS, INCLUDING ANY MEMBER OF THE ADMINISTRATIVE COMMITTEE, insures or indemnifies the owner of any artifact or memorabilia against any damage or loss. Therefore, owners of all artifacts and memorabilia accept all responsibility for the duty to protect, preserve, and remove their respective artifacts and memorabilia as soon as practicable and no later than 4:00 p.m. on SATURDAY, OCTOBER 3, 2026.
The Administrative Committee has decided that we will only accept cash payments for the total amount of the required payment for each classmate and their guests at the door on the day of the Luncheon.
The Administrative Committee respectfully requests that Classmates and their guests choose their attire for the afternoon to include business casual, festive or polished Fall casual, which excludes jeans or T-shirts on one hand, and evening gowns and tuxedos on the other.

Classmates,
More about this issue:
It has come to my attention that everyone is not getting the emails from the class website.
If you are not getting the emails, and your email address is correct in your profile on the website then you need to contact your email service provider (Yahoo, Gmail, Verizon, etc.)
And let them know that you are no longer getting email from “Webmaster@sumnerkckclassof66.com”, a site that you have previously received emails from. It happened to me also. They should be able to help you restore this site as a trusted site or NOT SPAM.
The issue is that ALL email providers are cracking down on sites that send mass emails as BULK emails because of the large number of recipients as SPAM (government regulation). The “Email The Class”, which is the tag on our website that I use when I send emails to you is considered BULK because it goes to 117 classmates. Sorry for the inconvenience but it is what it is. Hope this helps!
Again, because this announcement can be seen by the world, I am not going to put my personal email address or phone number here. Most of you if not all of you know how to contact me if needed.
WebMaster, Class of 1966
